Microsoft's Outlook email app for Windows crashed today when launched for a large number of users around the world. Office 365 business users reported that Outlook started and crashed immediately, apparently after a recent update. "We are investigating whether a recently released update could be the cause of this problem," Microsoft initially said in one Twitter status update.
"Our teams have started to resolve a problem that affects user access to Outlook," Microsoft said in a statement The edge.
Microsoft is now announcing that a solution to the problem will be introduced that will reach all customers in the next few hours. Affected users should be able to log in to Outlook on the web until the issues are completely resolved. IT administrators at Reddit Various workarounds have also been tested to reset the update that appears to have caused today's crashes.
